Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Ethan, Happy Birthday to you! So exciting, my godson is one year old today! I can't believe a year has passed already. I've only gotten to see him a few times; at the christening, again at the end of summer, and then once at Christmas, but he is the cutest little guy! Very alert and happy. :) Especially when you sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider." I work with little kids, I know how popular the song is, but Ethan REALLY loves that spider. I've never seen such a reaction to the song! He gets so excited that his eyes get big and bright, he drums his little heels on the carpet, and flaps his arms like he's about to fly away...all with a giant grin on his face. His parents are both musical geniuses, so maybe that's why he enjoys it so much. He's a joy to watch and I can't wait until the next time I get to see him. Who knows, he may be up and walking by then, as he was practicing standing on his own at Christmas. Happy Birthday my sweetie!
