Down to the wire...

Only 3 days left at the center!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. And it's only going to keep fast forwarding. The first week in April, I have plans to visit with my mom. She and I will be giggling and tee-heeing all week...especially since we have tickets to Disney on Ice Friday night! Awwww yeah! We're going to have a healthy dose of Disney because during this visit, she's going to help me work on the last few pages of the scrapbook to finish recording our special Mother-Daughter trip we took to Disney last October. I can't wait to see her and my dad and my grandma. I even have a date with my brother. I saw a preview for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and called him immediately on his cell phone and told him that we HAD to go! We loved the turtles growing up. One year for Halloween he dressed up as Raphael and I went as April O'Neill. Turtles are awesome! In addition to upcoming visiting, I'm hoping for more excitement as I look into getting a new car :) Not the kind of car that Mickey is sporting, but a Honda Element. It's so quirky and unique, I just love it! (Check out the link in my list of "Ways to Waste Time" for Honda's website) I'm past overdue for a change in cars and I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted this one to be. I think the Element is really the right choice for me...it's got 4 wheel drive, front and side airbags, huge cargo room, easy care interior (it's all rubberized!) and it's a bit peppier than the ancient slug I have now. Not so peppy as to get me in trouble with The Man...damn my heavy foot...but zippy enough to make a noticeable difference from the wagon. Plus it will be newer and make me less nervous about breaking down on the side of the road. That makes me very happy. Having all this to think about makes my days fly by. Mom, movies, and Cars, oh my. So much excitement...only 3 more days!
